The additional side channel may be used for an additional line-level audio signal or to downlink medium baud rate serial data. Stinger 5.8 Pro circuitry is also very efficient and able to operate for relatively extended period, both in the air and on the ground. The industry leading YellowJacket 5.8GHz Pro Diversity Receiver employs patent pending microprocessor technology to compare signals from the unit's two integrated receivers, invisibly switching to the best signal on the video sync pulse. The result is greater system coverage, greatly increased reception quality and seamless quality video. The YellowJacket 5.8GHz Pro Diversity Receiver all but eliminates signal bounce (or multipathing) from buildings, the ground and other objects that results in signal dropout.
